Cyber Fusion Distribution and Intezer Partner to Expand ForensicAI SOC Access Across the UK Channel

Intezer and Cyber Fusion just made a practical move

On September 28, 2026, Cyber Fusion Distribution and Intezer said they are expanding access to Intezer’s ForensicAI SOC platform across the UK channel. That is not flashy, but it is useful.

The pitch is simple. UK channel partners, resellers, and MSSPs can now offer a platform that automatically triages and investigates alerts across a company’s existing security stack. For a business that already has endpoint protection, email security, identity tools, and a SIEM, that matters more than a new logo on a slide deck.

What the platform actually does

Intezer describes ForensicAI as an AI SOC platform for enterprise. It uses agentic AI, endpoint analysis, memory scanning, reverse engineering, and built-in threat intelligence to produce evidence-backed verdicts. That means it is supposed to look at an alert, investigate it, and tell you whether it is noise or a real problem.

The important part is that it works with the tools you already own. It is not being sold as a rip-and-replace project. For a 30-person company, that is the difference between something you might actually buy and something that dies in committee.

We like that approach. Most small and mid-sized businesses do not need a giant security replatform. They need someone to stop false alarms from burning analyst time and to catch the real stuff faster.

Why this matters for smaller IT budgets

The announcement says the goal is to help UK channel partners deliver faster and more comprehensive security operations. Cyber Fusion says it will help partners introduce, position, and deploy Intezer to strengthen existing SOC and MDR services, or build new offerings around alert triage, forensic investigation, incident response, and detection improvement.

That is the real business case. Not magic AI. Better use of the security budget you already have.

For a smaller company, the likely benefit is not a fancy SOC transformation. It is fewer hours spent staring at alerts that go nowhere. It is also better evidence when something does turn out to be real. That can shave time off response and make your MSP or MSSP more useful without hiring a bigger internal security team.

If your team is still manually sorting through every noisy alert, this kind of tool can help. If you barely have any security monitoring today, this will not fix that by itself. It sits on top of existing controls.

What is not clear yet

The commercial terms were not disclosed. Neither were pricing, partner tiers, or any launch date beyond the September 28, 2026 announcement. So we do not know whether this is affordable for smaller businesses or mainly aimed at larger channel deals.

That uncertainty matters. A lot of security announcements sound helpful until the quote arrives. Then the conversation changes fast.

We would not rush to buy just because the words AI and forensic are attached to the product. We would ask a simple question first. Can it reduce the time spent on alert triage enough to pay for itself within a year?

What we would do about it

If we were advising a San Diego business with limited IT spend, we would treat this as a possible add-on, not a replacement for basics. First, make sure endpoint protection, email filtering, MFA, backup, and logging are already in place. Then look at whether your current provider is drowning in alerts and missing real work.

If that is happening, this kind of platform could be worth a pilot. Ask for a trial against your existing stack, a clear list of what it integrates with, and a plain-English report on how many alerts it actually resolves without human review.

If the answer is mostly yes, good. If it only sounds impressive in a demo, pass. We would rather spend the money on fewer noisy tools and a partner who can actually investigate alerts than on another headline-sized promise.
