What it is

The T58V is the T58A smart desk phone bundled with its HD camera. It has a 7-inch adjustable color touchscreen running Android, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in, gigabit network ports, and a clip-on camera with a privacy shutter, so you can see the person you're talking to.

Why you'd want it

• Face-to-face from your desk: video calls without opening a laptop.
• Privacy when you want it: slide the shutter closed for voice-only calls.
• Wireless and flexible: built-in Bluetooth for headsets and Wi-Fi for desks without a cable.

Do you need it?

Choose it if you want video calling at the desk from day one. If you might add video later, the T58A lets you buy the camera separately. If you want a larger screen with a built-in camera, look at the VP59. If you'll never use video, the T57W is the simpler touchscreen. This model ships without a power supply: it takes power from your network switch over the network cable (PoE, Power over Ethernet). If your switch doesn't provide PoE, add the Yealink power supply or a PoE injector to your order.

How it works with Plan V

One phone per desk on a Plan V seat. We set it up for your Plan V service before it ships, so it works when you plug it in: your extension, voicemail and line keys ready to go. Add Device Warranty for unlimited replacements. Video calls work between video-capable phones on your Plan V system.
