CertiK Partners with Arbitrum and Robinhood Crypto to Support Web3 Startups

CertiK’s Arbitrum partnership is useful for Web3 startups, not ordinary offices

CertiK announced on October 30, 2026, that it had joined Arbitrum and Robinhood Crypto in the Arbitrum Mentorship Program for early-stage Web3 companies. The offer includes access to CertiK AI Auditor, Skynet, discounted security assessments, and expert mentoring before products reach customers.

That is a sensible move for a startup building blockchain software. It is not a major change for most small and midsized businesses in San Diego County.

What the participating startups receive

CertiK will give teams in the program access to AI Auditor and Skynet. Those tools are intended to help teams find security weaknesses during development, rather than waiting until a product is nearly ready to launch.

The startups will also be eligible for discounted security assessments. The announcement does not say how large those discounts are, so nobody should build a budget around a number that has not been published.

Mentoring will cover more than code. CertiK says its guidance will include security, technology, business development, and go-to-market planning. That matters because a secure smart contract does not fix a weak deployment process or an unclear product plan.

Winning teams receive additional attention. They are promised extended AI Auditor access, priority scheduling for pre-launch audits, market-specific regulatory guidance, and promotional opportunities.

The part that matters before launch

Blockchain products carry a different kind of exposure from a typical business website. A mistake in a smart contract can affect customer funds or permanently change how a system behaves. Fixing the issue after launch may be expensive, public, or impossible.

Early testing is the right instinct. Automated tools can help identify possible problems while developers are still changing the product. A formal audit still has a place, especially before real money or sensitive customer activity moves through the system.

We would not treat AI Auditor as a substitute for an independent review. Automated findings need people who understand the code, the business rules, and the way the system will be used. A clean tool report is not a security warranty.

What this means for a 30-person company

If your company runs accounting software, professional services, construction operations, or a local medical practice, this partnership does not change the work we would prioritize. It does not protect Microsoft 365 accounts, replace endpoint monitoring, improve backups, or stop an employee from approving a fraudulent wire transfer.

The benefits are aimed at participating Web3 startups. The announcement does not confirm how many teams will participate, how long the program will run, who qualifies, or the monetary value of the discounts.

That distinction matters. Security news often sounds broader than it is. This is not a new security service available to every small business. It is a targeted support program for companies building on or around the Arbitrum and Robinhood Crypto ecosystems.

What we would do if we were building a blockchain product

We would first confirm eligibility and the application timeline directly with the program organizers. Then we would ask for the discount terms in writing and identify exactly what AI Auditor and Skynet cover.

Next, we would document the product’s most important assets. That includes smart contracts, wallet controls, cloud accounts, deployment keys, source repositories, and any system that can move customer funds. Those items deserve separate owners and stronger access controls before testing begins.

We would also schedule a formal pre-launch assessment early enough to fix findings. Priority scheduling is helpful only if the audit happens before the release date becomes immovable.

For a normal small business, we would spend the budget elsewhere first. Review administrator accounts, test backups, require multifactor authentication, and close gaps in email security. If your company is actually developing a blockchain product, ask about the Arbitrum Mentorship Program now, and IT911Now can help review the surrounding business systems that the program does not cover.
