What it is

This small HD camera clips onto the top of a Yealink T58A desk phone and plugs into its USB port. Once it is attached, the phone can make and answer video calls with other video phones on your system. It has a privacy shutter you can slide closed when you don't want to be seen.

Why you'd want it

• Face-to-face calls from your desk: see the person you're talking to without opening a laptop.
• No extra software: the camera works through the phone's own screen and menus.
• Privacy when you want it: close the shutter or unplug the camera in seconds.
• Upgrade later: buy the T58A now and add video only when your team is ready.

Do you need it?

Only if you have, or are buying, a T58A phone and want video calling on it. The T58V already comes with this camera, so you don't need a second one. If video calls mostly happen in Teams or Zoom on a computer, a webcam on the computer is simpler.

How it works with Plan V

The camera works with T58A and T58V phones on a Plan V seat. Video calls work between video-capable phones on your Plan V system. Tell us which phone it's for and we'll check it's set up for video before it ships.
