What it is
The T27G is a business desk phone for everyday users. It handles up to six phone lines, has a backlit black-and-white screen, programmable keys for speed dials and transfers, and gigabit network ports, so a computer plugged in through the phone keeps full speed. It's from Yealink's older T2 generation, a proven model rather than the newest.
Why you'd want it
- Clear calls: HD Voice makes voices sound natural and easy to understand.
- Plenty of keys: set up speed dials, busy lights for coworkers and one-touch transfers.
- Fast for your computer: gigabit pass-through keeps the PC behind the phone at full speed.
- Tidy desks: one cable for network and power.
Do you need it?
A good fit for most office desks. If someone only makes a few calls a day, the T23G or T21P E2 cost less. If you want a color screen or built-in Bluetooth for a headset, look at the T53W or T54W. This model ships without a power supply: it takes power from your network switch over the network cable (PoE, Power over Ethernet). If your switch doesn't provide PoE, add the Yealink power supply or a PoE injector to your order.
How it works with Plan V
One phone per desk on a Plan V seat. We set it up for your Plan V service before it ships, so it works when you plug it in: your extension, voicemail and line keys ready to go. Add Device Warranty for unlimited replacements.
