What it is

The T40G is a straightforward business desk phone with up to three phone lines, a black-and-white screen and gigabit network ports. It's an older Yealink model built for people who make and take calls but don't need many extra buttons.

Do you need it?

Good for staff who use the phone a few times a day: back office, shared desks, break rooms. If you need more keys for transfers and busy lights, step up to the T27G or T42S. This model ships without a power supply: it takes power from your network switch over the network cable (PoE, Power over Ethernet). If your switch doesn't provide PoE, add the Yealink power supply or a PoE injector to your order.

How it works with Plan V

One phone per desk on a Plan V seat. We set it up for your Plan V service before it ships, so it works when you plug it in: your extension, voicemail and line keys ready to go. Add Device Warranty for unlimited replacements.
