What it is

The T54W is a business desk phone from Yealink's current T5 series with a 4.3-inch color screen that tilts, up to sixteen lines, and gigabit network ports. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in, so you can pair a wireless headset or your mobile phone, or connect where there's no network cable. A USB port takes a USB headset.

Do you need it?

Choose it for managers, sales staff and anyone who lives on the phone. Everyday users don't need it: the T53 or T53W cost less. For a big touchscreen, look at the T57W. This model ships without a power supply: it takes power from your network switch over the network cable (PoE, Power over Ethernet). If your switch doesn't provide PoE, add the Yealink power supply or a PoE injector to your order.
